Tilo Jung

Tilo Jung (born October 21, 1985 in Malchin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) is a German journalist and chief editor of the political webshow ''Jung & Naiv'' (Young & Naive).
== Life and work ==
Alongside his school education Tilo Jung worked temporarily as a reporter for the regional daily newspaper Nordkurier.
In 2006 he moved to Berlin enrolling to study business and law in Humboldt University. In 2011 he started his career as a journalist interviewing and editing coverage for the radioshow ''Medienmagazin'' on radioeins, hosted by Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg.
The general debate about political apathy inspired him creating a new concept for a political talkshow called ''Jung & Naiv'' with the tagline "Politics for the Indifferent". To keep it simple and comprehensive guests have to start from scratch and have to avoid using jargon. The ambience of the interview is supposed to be very informal, the conversation isn't restricted by time or script.
At first he published the uncutted interviews on his YouTube-channel, half a year later the German commercial television station ''Joiz.Germany'' started to broadcast most episodes of ''Jung & Naiv'' until its insolvency in November 2014. Notable guests on his show were politicians and journalists like Peer Steinbrück, Jürgen Trittin, Heiko Maas, Jeremy Scahill and Glenn Greenwald.
Jung was nominated for Deutscher Fernsehpreis 2014 as best current affairs program.
In 2015 Tilo Jung shifted his focus on regular press conferences of German government, called ''Bundespressekonferenz'' (BPK). Meanwhile other correnpondents report for news agencies, newspapers or broadcasters he works independently and collects donation via crowdfunding by his web viewers.
